Gayle King is firing back at a recent report claiming she’s exiting “CBS Mornings.” The longtime anchor was spotted leaving the morning show’s New York City studio Friday and said the report is contradictory to what the network has been telling her.

Both Gayle King and CBS News brass on Friday addressed the widely circulated report that she would depart the anchor desk at “CBS Mornings” next spring.

CBS News quickly denied that, saying in a Thursday statement that “there have been no discussions with Gayle about her contract that runs through May 2026.”
