The dispute between the two media giants centers on the price YouTube TV pays Disney for access to its content.

Disney has asked Google's YouTube TV to restore ABC for Election Day coverage in service of public interest, just days after its networks went dark on the pay-TV platform.

Subscribers to YouTube TV lost access to Disney channels such as ABC, ESPN and FX on Oct. 31 after the two companies failed to reach a new agreement over programming costs.
