The first electric train operated on the new Moreton Bay Rail Line yesterday, with testing ramping up ahead of the opening mid-year. Four electric trains will run on the new rail line to test components of the infrastructure by simulating normal train operations. Local residents will be able to see commuter test trains running between Petrie and Kippa Ring as we carry out extensive tests of the line, trains, signalling and other equipment.
